Talmadge Davis (Cherokee) 1962 - 2005
Master Artist - Five Tribes Museum Cherokee Medal of Honor Reciepient Talmadge became one of the nation's best known Cherokee artists before his unexpected death in 2005. His works have been featured at Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa and on a traveling exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. He was best known for his paintings of Cherokee history, soldiers and hunters.
